ORDINANCE NO. B -2019
AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating traffic, travel and transportation and other
incidents upon the .streets and other ways open to the public; prescribing
the powers and duties of officers and others in relation t r:e reto, defining
offences; providing penalties, and amending Ordinance No. B -1526.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIIVIA: -
Section 1. Section 50 is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 50. Arterial Highways. The following streets and portions thereof
between the points named are hereby designated as arterial highways:
16th. Avenue: From Northwest City Limits to South City Limits;
llth. Avenue: South from West Yakima Avenue to Division Street;
5th. Avenue: From West Walnut north to "I" Street;
3rd. Avenue: South from West Walnut Street to City Limits;
1st. Street: From North City Limits to South City Limits:
3rd. Street: From East "C" Street south to junction with 1st. Street;
Fair Avenue: From Terrace Heights Way to south City Limits:
Fruitvale Boulevard: From 5th. Avenue west to City Limits;
Lincoln Avenue: From west City Limits to 6th. Avenue North;
"C" Street: From 6th. Avenue East to 8th Street;
Summitview: From west City Limits to junction with West Yakima Avenue;
Yakima Avenue: From Hillcrest to east City Limits;
Walnut Street: From llth. Avenue east to 9th. Street;
Tieton Drive: From 16th. Avenue west to City Limits;
.Division Street: From 8th. Avenue west to 16th. Avenue;
Maple Street: From 8th.Avenue east to 5th. Avenue;
Pacific Avenue: From South 1st. Street east to City Limits;
Lenox Avenue: From South 1st. Street east to City Limits and from South
3rd. Avenue west to 16th. Avenue;
Nob Hill Boulevard: From 16th. Avenue west to City Limits;
Mead Avenue: From 16th. Avenue east to City Limits;
Grandview Avenue: From north City Limits to south City Limits:
40th. Avenue (Crescent Drive): From north City limits to South City Limits;
24th. Avenue: From North City Limits to South City Limits;
(Custer) 10th. Avenue: From North City Limits to South City Limits;
5th Avenue: From Maple Street to "I" Street;
Englewood Avenue: From West City Limits to 16th. Avenue;
Cherry Avenue: From 16th. Avenue to 5th. Avenue;
West "I" Street: From 5th.Avenue to 1st. Street;
Section 2. This Ordinance shall have full force and effect 30 days from
and after its passage, approval, and publication as provided by law.
