ORDINANCE NO. B -2017
AN ORDINANCE rezoning certain specific property situate in the City of Yakima, County of
Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has duly considered the rezoning of certain
specific property in the City of Yakima as hereinafter more fully described, and it app-
earing that the Yakima Planning Commission has duly considered and recommended such chan-
ges, and there having been conducted a public hearing thereon; and it appearing to be in
the best interests of the City of Yakima to so rezone said premises, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY Ti.T.E CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the following described property situate in the City of
Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to -wit: .
Lots 9 and 14 inclusive, Block 66. ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF NORTH YAKIME,
be and the same is hereby rezoned and changed from "B" Residence, Area 2, to Limited Bus -
iness, Area 2. .
Section 2. That the following described property situate in the City of
Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to -wit:
The south half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of the East Half of Section 30, Township 13 North, Range
19, E.W.M., otherwise designated as that property situated on East Lenox
Avenue from the alley East of South 8th Street to Fair Avenue,
be and the same is hereby rezoned and changed from "B" Residence and Business to Limited
Business.
Section 3. That the following described property situate in the City. of
Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to -wit:
Starting at the center point of the intersection of West Lenox Avenue and
llth Avenue South; thence South 158 feet; thence West 970 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Queen Avenue, extended, thence North 158 feet to the :.
center line of West Lenox Avenue to the point of beginning; otherwise desig-
nated as that property on the South side of Lenox Avenue from South llth
Avenue to Queen Avenue,
be and the same is hereby rezoned and changed from "B" Residence, Area 2, to Limited Bus-
iness, Area 2.
Section 4. That the above changes in zoning shall be included and depicted
on the next regularly amended use District Map prepared by and for said City.
Section 5. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file
with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this Ordinance.
Section 6. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30 days
1 after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 15th day of April,
1957.
