AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the street in the City of Yakima mentioned
and described.as follows, to -wit: The Northeasterly 20 feet of Park Ave-
nue adjoining Tract 20 of Yakima Heights Residence Tracts, according to
the plat thereof recorded in VoTume A of Plats, page 87, Records of Yak-
ima County, Washington, except any portions thereof lying 18th Avenue
North and Park Lane.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Commission of the City
of Yakima for the vacation of the hereinafter described property, and
WHEREAS, by resolution adopted by the City Commission a hearing on -said
petition was set for the 2Lst day of January, 1957, at the -hour of 10 :00 o'clock in
the forenoon of said day in the office of the City Commission at the City Hall, Yak-
ima, Washington, and notice thereof was duly given in the manner provided by statute,
and by the City Clerk of said city, and
WHEREAS, upon the hearing on said petition no objection was filed or made
by any abutting property owner the said city being the sole owner of the said abutting
property, and it being deemed for the best interests of the City of Yakima, and the
public at large and there being no adverse vested interests,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That that portion of the street known as Park Avenue within
the City of Yakima lying between the points and upon the property hereinafter describ-
ed, to -wit:
The Northeasterly 20 feet of Park Avenue adjoining Tract 20 of Yakima
Heights Residence Tracts, according to the plat thereof recorded in
Volume A of Plats, page 87, Records of Yakima County, Washington, except
any portions thereof lying in 18th Avenue North and Park Lane.
be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2. The city of Yakima hereby reserves all necessary easements
and rights of way for the installation and maintenance of any and all water mains,
sewers, or utilities of any and all kinds which may now exist in said street or which
it may hereafter desire to construct thereon.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30 days after
its passage, approval, and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved, this 21st day of Jan-
uary, 1957.

No. B -1987 entitled "AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the street in the City
of Yakima mentioned and described as follows, to -wit: The Northeasterly 20 feet of
Park Avenue adjoining Tract 20 of Yakima Heights Residence Tracts, according to the
plat thereof recorded in Volume A of Plats, page 87, Records of Yakima County, Washing-
ton, except any portions thereof lying in 18th Avenue North and Park Lane as passed on
the 21st day of January, 1957, and that the same has been published as required by law.
