B -1974 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the Westerly 130 feet of the alley in Bio 330 of Capital addition to North Yakima (Now Yakima ' Washington), as shown on the plat of said addition. WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Commission of the City of Yakima providing for the vacation of the hereinafter described property; and WHEREAS, by resolution adopted by the City Commission, .a hearing on said petition was set for the 24th day of December, 1956, at the hour of 10 :00 o'clock in the forenoon of said day at the office of the City Commission at the City Hall, Yakima, Washington, and notice thereof was duly given in the manner provided by statute and by the City Clerk of said City; and, WHEREAS, upon the hearing of said petition no objection was made thereon or filed, and it beingg deemed for the best interests of the City of Yakima that said petition be granted and said alley be vacated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That the following described alley in the City of Yakima, Washington, to -wit: The Westerly 130 feet of the alley in Block 330 of Capitol ADDITION TO NORTH YAKIMA (Now Yakima, Washington), as shown on the plat of said addition, be and the same is hereby vacated. Section 2. The City of Yakima hereby reserves all necessary easements and rights of way for the installation and maintenance of any and all water mains, sewers or utilities of any and all kinds which may now exist in said alley or which it may hereafter desire to construct therein, without interference with any existing building thereon. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
