ORDINANCE NO. B -1951
AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance B -18$4 relating to and regulating the sale, installation,
and servicing of heating appliances in the City of Yakima, and providing
for a bond, public liability insurance and products liability insurance;
and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. Said Ordinance B -1$$4 shall be amended by adding thereto the
following:
"Section 4a(1) The total and aggregate liability of the surety under the
aforesaid bond shall in no event exceed the sum of $1,000.00. (2) A condition precedent
to the issuance of the license referred to in Section 2 ( of said ordinance B -1$$4)
shall be the filing with the City Clerk by the applicant of a policy of insurance common-
ly known as Public Liability andPProperty Damage Insurance and Products Liability
Insurance in an amount of not less than $10,000.00 for each person and $20,000.00 for
each incidence, for personal injury; and $10,000.00 for property, damage for each
incidence of liability; and such license when issued shall remain valid during such time
only as said policy of insurance shall remain in full force and effect."
Section 2. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, property, health and safety of the people of the City of Yakima;
and an emergency is hereby declared to exitt and said ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage, approval and publication as provided
for in the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 29th day of
October, 1956.

been published as required by law.
