ORDINANCE. N0. B -1901
AN ORDINANCE rezoning certain specific property situate in the City of Yakima, Yakima
County, Washington. .
WHEREAS, the City Commission. has duly considered the rezoning of certain
specific property in the City of Yakima as hereinafter more fully described, and it
appearing that the Yakima Planning .Commission has duly considered and recommended such
changes and there having been conducted a public hearing upon the same before the Yakima
City Commission, and it appearing to be for the best interests of the City of Yakima to
so rezone said premises,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section. 1. That the following described property situate in the City of
Yakima, Yakima County, Washington,. to -wit: Lots 18 to 24, inclusive, Block 1, Broad-
way Park Addition No. 2 to Yakima according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume I
of Plats, page 10, records of Yakima County, Washington, be and the same is hereby re-
zonedand changed from "B" Residence Area 2, 651 height district, to the Industrial
District Area 4, Maximum Height District.
Section 2. That the following described property situate in the City of
Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit: That portion of the South half of the
Northwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 13 North, Range 19, E.W.M., lying West of the
West right -of -way line of the North Coast Railroad Company now Union Pacific System,
and East of the East line of BROADWAY PARK ADDITION NO. 2 to Yakima, less the South 30
feet thereof for road, be and the same is hereby rezoned and changed from "B" Residence
Area 2, 651 Height District to the Industrial District Area 4, maximum Height District.
Section 3. The above changes in zoning shall be included and depicted
upon the next regularly amended use district map prepared by and for said City. All
of the. limitations of use provided for said districts by the general rezoning ordinance
of the City of Yakima, the same being Ordinance No. B -293, and amendments thereto are
hereby declared to apply to. and govern the property described herein from and after the
effective date of this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective 30 days after its pas-
sage, approval, and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 25th day of June,
1 956.
