B -1878 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of Fourth Avenue South immediately south of King Street, in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, • Washington. WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Commission of the City of Yakima providing for the vacation of the hereinafter described property; and WHEREAS, by resolution adopted by the City Commission, a hearing on said petition was set for the 7th day of May, 1956, at the hour of lO ::QO o'clock in the fore- noon of said day at the office of the City Commission in the City Hall, Yakima, Washing- ton, and notice thereof was duly given in the manner provided by statute and by the City Clerk of said City; and, WHEREAS, upon the hearing on said petition no objection was made thereon or files, and it being deemed for the best interests of the City of Yakima, that said pe- tition be granted and a portion of said street be vacated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That the following described portion of street in the City of Yakima, Washington, to -wit: The East 12.5 feet of the west 306.25 feet of the South 111.7 feet of the north 136.7 feet of Lot 16, of the Plat of Section 36, Township 13 North, Range 18 E..W.M., situate in the City of Yakima, Yakima County,, Washington, being a portion of Fourth Avenue South immediately south of King Street,.in said City of Yakima, be:and the same is hereby vacated. Section 2. The City of Yakima reserves all necessary easements and rights of way for the installation and maintenance of any and all water mains, sewers or utilities of any and all kinds which may now exist in said street or which it may here - after desire to construct therein, without interference with any existing building there- on. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
