ORDINANCE NO. B -1877
AN ORDINANCE providing for the expenditure of funds not budgeted for the Airport, and
declaring an emergency..
Section i. That an emergency exists requiring the expenditure of the sum
of $1168.73 for the payment of premium for fire and extended coverage insurance at the
Yakima Municipal Airport, it appearing that funds therefore were not included or ap-
propriated in the 1956 budget and that it was impossible at the time of preparing such
budget to have reasonably foreseen the need for such additional monies for said purpose.
Section 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized, empowered and directed
to issue emergency warrant upon the funds property chargeable therefor for said purpose
in the sum of $1168.73 upon presentation of proper voucher therefor.
Section 3. This ordinance is one providing for the expenditure of funds
not budgeted, and an emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become ef-
fective immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and
the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 7th day of May,
1956.
