ORDINANCE NO. B -1865

AN ORDINANCE providing for .the vacation of that certain 20 foot alley running in a North
- and South direction from Pine Street to Maple Street through Block 275,
Lund's Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), and situate in the City of
• Yakima, Washington.. . .
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Commission of the City of
Yakima providing for the vacation of the hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, by resolution adopted by the City Commission, a hearing on said
petition was set for the 2nd day of April, 1956, at the hour of 10:00 o'clock a.m. in
the forenoon of said day at the office of the City Commission at the City Hall, Yakima,
Washington, and notices thereof were duly given in the manner provided by statue and by
the City Clerk of said City; and,

WHEREAS, upon the hearing on said petition no objection was made thereon, or
filed, and it being deemed for the best interests of the City of Yakima that said pe-
tition be granted and portion of said street be vacated;
NOW,.THEREFORE,.BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the following described portion of alley in the City of
,Yakima, Washington, to -wit: .
That certain 20 foot alley running in a north and south direction and
lying between Lots l.through 8, and Lots 9 through 16, in Block 275,
Lund's Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima) according to the official
plat thereof recorded in Volume "A" of Plats, page 103, records of
Yakima County, Washington, said alley running from Pine Street to Maple
Street through said Block 275;
be and the same is hereby vacated..
Section 2.. The -City of Yakima hereby reserves all necessary easements and
rights -of -way for the installation and maintenance of any and all water mains, sewers or
utilities of any and all kinds which may now exist in said alley or which it may here -
after desire to construct therein, without interference with any existing building there-
on.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, approval and publication as provided bylaw and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved, this 2nd day of April,
1956.
