AN ORDINANCE providing for the transfer of funds from certain budgeted items of the Ta-
homa Cemetery for 1956, and declaring an emergency:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the sum of $300.00 is required for the Maintenance and
Operation expense of Dues and Conventions of Tahoma Cemetery, and that sufficient funds
therefor were not budgeted or provided in the 1956 budget, and it has been ascertained
that said sum is available for transfer from the Salary item of $21,208 of said Tahoma
Cemetery.
Section 2. That the expenditure of said sum for said purpose as described
in Section 1 hereof and the transfer of said sum as' hereinabove stated is hereby fully
and in all respects authorized and approved; and the appropriate city officials are here-
by authorized, empowered and directed to downy and all things necessary or proper for
carrying out this transfer.
Section 3. This ordinance is one providing for the transfer of funds from
one item to another in the 1956 budget, and an emergency is declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 20th day of
February, 1956::
