ORDINANCE NO. B -1$0$
AN .ORDINANCE' providing for the transfer of funds from certain budgeted items of the Ta-
homa Cemetery, and declaring an emergency. .
•
WHEREAS, Tahoma Cemetery has overspent certain items budgeted for said de-
partment for the calendar year 1955, and sufficient funds therefor are available from
certain other items budgeted for said department and it having been ascertained that said
excess sum will not be used entirely for said item; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1: That the sum of $1340.76 additional is required for the main-
. tenance and operation item of "Material" and it has been ascertained that the item for
"Bookkeeper" will not be entirely used for said purpose and that said sum of 51340.76
is available for transfer from said salary item to said "Material" item of Tahoma Ceme-
tery.
Section 2: That the expenditure of said funds for said purpose in the man-
ner described in Section 1 hereinabove set forth and the said transfer of funds as here -
inabove stated is hereby fully and in all respects authorized and approved; and the
appropriate city officials are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to do any and
all things necessary for carrying out this ordinance.
Section 3: This ordinance is one providing.. for the transfer of funds from
one item to another in the 1955 budget, and an emergency is declared to exist, and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law and the CityCharter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved, this 27th day of
December, 1955.
