ORDINANCE NO. B -1786
AN ORDINANCE fixing the working hours of, and establishing a forty -hour work week for al
outside city employees and supervisory personnel working in connection with
them, exclusive of police department, fire department, and city hall employ
ees and certain water, sewerage and sanitation department employees.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF- YAKIMA:
11 Section 1. From and after January 1, 1956, the working hours of all out -
side city employees, and supervisory personnel working in connection with them, exclusiv=
of police department, fire department and city hall employees, and also exclusive of the
water and sewerage department employees and sanitation department employees who are em-
ployed at the Oak Flat city water intake station, the city reservoir, the sewage disposa
plant and the city garbage dump, shall be eight hours per day and five days per week and .
forty hours per week.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved, this 28th day of
November, 1

on the 28th day of November, 1955, and that same has been published as required by law.
