ORDINANCE NO. B -1715
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 88 of Ordinance No. B-1526, entitled "AN ORDINANCE relat
to and regulating traffic, travel and transportation and their incidents
upon the streets and other ways open to the public; prescribing the powers
and duties of officers and others in relation thereto; defining offenses;
providing penalties, and repealing Ordinance No. B -131 and all amendments
thereof and all other ordinances in so far as they are in conflict there -
with,`and declaring an emergency", and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section.l. Paragraph (i) of Section 88 of Ordinance No. B -1526, passed on
December 31, 1953, entitled as shown in the caption hereof, as amended by Ordinance No.
B- 1546, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(i) TWO HOUR PARKING METER ZONES: The following described portions of
the following named avenues and streets in the City of Yakima are hereby
established as two -hour parking meter zones:
Both sides; South 2nd Street from Walnut to Spruce Streets;
Both sides, East Walnut Street from Front Street to 3rd Street;
Both sides, North 2nd Street from "B" Street to "0" Street;
Both sides, North 3rd Street from "A" Street to "B" Street;
Both sides, East. "B" Street from 1st Street to 3rd Street;
South side, East "B" Street from 3rd Street to 4th Street;
West side, ' North 4th Street from "A" Street to "B" Street;
Both sides, South 4th Street from Chestnut Street to Walnut Street;
Both sides, East Chestnut Street from 4th Street to Naches Avenue."
Section 2. Paragraph (f) 'of Section 88 of said Ordinance No. B -1526, as
amended, is hereby repealed.
11 Section 3. This'ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, property, health and safety and an emergency is declared to exist,
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, ap-
proval, and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.

1955.
