B -1605 AN ORDINANCE rezoning certain property on Front Street between East "I" Street and East "H" Street, said property being on the East side of said North Front Street, from Residence District "0" to Commercial District. WHEREAS, the City Commission has duly considered the rezoning of the premis- es described in the caption hereof which are situated in the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, from Residence District "C ", which the same now are, to ;l Commercial District; and it appearing that the Yakima Planning Commission has approved and recommended such change; and there having been conducted a public hearing upon the same before the Yakima City Commission; and it appearing to be for the best interests of the City of Yakima to so rezone said premises; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That the following described property situated in the City of Yakima, Yakima County Washington, to -wit: Beginning at the intersection of the-, South line of East "I" Street with the easterly line of North Front Street, in the City of Yakima, Washington, said point being in the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 13 North, Range 1$, E.W.M., thence southeasterly along the east line of Front Street to the north line of Block 2, Town of North Yakima, now Yakima, Washington; thence easterly along the North line of said Block 2, 140 feet, more or less, to the westerly line of the alley; thence Northwesterly along the westerly line of said alley extended, to the south line of East "I" Street; thence west along the south line of East "I" Street to the point of beginning, be and the same is hereby rezoned and changed to a Commercial District classification. '! Section 2. The above change in zoning shall be included in and depicted i upon the next regularly amended use district map prepared by and for the City. All of 1' the limitations on use provided for Commercial districts by the general zoning ordinance of the City of Yakima, the same .being Ordinance No. B - 293 and amendments thereto, are hereby declared to apply to and govern the property described herein, from and after the effective date of this ordinance. Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30)days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
