ORDINANCE NO. B -1535
AN ORDINANCE providing for the payment of the sum of $1,627.13 to the Town of Union Gap
for the share of the City of Yakima of the Maintenance and operation expense
of the Union. Gap Sewage Disposal system for the last six months of 1953, and
providing for the payment thereof out of the 1954 City Water Department
Fund, and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That there shall be paid out of the 1954 City Water Department Fund,
to the Town of Union Gap, the sum of $1,627.13 in payment of the agreed share of the
City of Yakima of the maintenance and operation expenses of the Sewage Disposal plant
at Union Gap for 'the last six months of the calendar year 1953.
Section 2. This ordinance is one providing for the expenditure of funds not
budgeted and providing for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property,
health and safety of the people of the City of Yakima, and an emergency is hereby declared
to exist, ant this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
