AN ORDINANCE rezoning certain property at the southwest corner of Summitview Avenue and 15th Avenue North, from Residence District "C" to Limited Business District. WHEREAS, the City Commission has duly considered the rezoning of the premises described in the caption hereof which are situated in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit: . The east 114 feet of the west 415 feet of the south 116 feet of the north 146 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 24, Twonship 13 North, Range 18 E.W.M. from Residence District "C ", in which the same now are, to Limited Business District; and it appearing that the Yakima Planning Commission has approved and recommended such change; and there having been conducted a public hearing upon the same before the Yakima City Commission; and the petitioner, Richfield Oil Company, having entered into a written contract with said city as to the methods to be adhered to in the improvement of said property for service station purposes, and said city acting in reliance thereon; and it appearing to be for the best interests of the City of Yakima to so . rezone said premises; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That the following described property situated at the southwest corner of the intersection of Summitview Avenue and 15th Avenue north in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington and more particularly descri ed as follows, to -wit The east 114 feet of the west 415 feet of the south 116 feet of the north 146 feet of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 24, Township 13 North, Range 18 E.W.M. be and the same is hereby rezoned and changed to a Limited Business District classific- ation. Section 2. The above change in zoning shall be included and depicted upon the . next regularly amended use district map prepared by and for the City. All of the limit- ations on use provided for Limited Business Districts by the general zoning ordinance of the City of Yakima, the same being Ordinance No..B -293 and amendments thereto, are here- by declared to apply to and govern the property described herein, from and after the effective date of this ordinance. Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective 30 days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the city Charter.
