B -1455 AN ORDINANCE. rezoning Lot 8 of Block 2, Lenox Homesites, from "B " residence district to Business district, and from Area district 2 to Area district 4., and from Sixty -five foot Height district to Maximum Height district. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Yakima has duly considered the rezoning of the premises described in the caption hereof, which are situated in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit; Lot 8 of Block 2 Lenox Homesites, according to the official plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, from "B "' residence district to Business district, and from Area district 2 to Area District 4, and from Sixty -five foot Height district to Maximum Height district, as petitioned for . and it appearing that the Yakima Planning Commission has approved and recommended such changes and there having been conducted a public hearing upon the matters before the Yakima City Commission, and it appearing to be for the best interests of the City of Yakima to so rezone said premises, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1 That the following described property, situate in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit: Lot 8 of Block 2, Lenox Homesites, according to the official plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Auditor of Yakima, County, Washington, be and the ,:same is hereby rezoned to a Business District classification, and to an Area, district 4 classification, and to a Maximum Height district classification. Section 2. The above changes in zoning shall be included in and depicted upon the regularly amended Height, Area and Use district maps, prepared by and for the City. All of the limitations on Use, Height and Area provided for Business districts, as above classified by the General Zoning Ordinance of the City of Yakima, the same being Ordinance No. B -293 and Amendements thereto, are hereby declared to apply to and . govern the property described herein, from and after the effective date of this ordinance Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law and the City Charter.
