ORDINANCE NO. .S -1454
AN ORDINANCE providing for the acquisition by condemnation or purchase of real property
situate in Yakima County, Washington described as: South 30 feet of Lot
53` Saint Paul acre lots according to the official plat thereof on file and
of record in the office of the County Auditor, Yakima County, Washington
for the purpose of constructing and extending a public street along and
across said premises and providing for the method of payment therefor.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That it is necessary that the City of Yakima, Washington acquire
title to the following described property, situate in Yakima County, Washington, to -wit:
The South 30 feet of Lot 53 St. Paul Acre Lots, according to the officaal
plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Auditor,
Yakima County, Washington,
for the purpose of constructing and extending a public street, to -wit, Lenox Avenue in
said city and it is hereby ordained that title to said real property above described be
acquired by purchase or condenmation proceedings, as provided by law for the acquisition
of Ir operty for such public use.
Section 2. That the cost and expense of acquisition -of said real property
shall be determined in the nammer provided by law; and all of such cost; and payment of
just compensation therefor, and for any severance damage done to adjoining property by
the acquisition of said real property, as determined by any.proce for such acqui-
sition, shall be paid from any general funds of the city applicable thereto.
Section 3'. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30 days after
its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.

and that same has been published as required by law.
