ORDINANCE NO. B -1435
AN ORDINANCE rezoning the north one -half of Lots 1 and 2, McCrimmon and Needham's sub -
division, from "C" residence district to "Business district "'.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has duly considered the re- zoning of the
premises described in the caption hereof, which are situated in the city of Yakima,
Yakima County, Washington, to -wit:
The north one -half of Lots 1 and 2, McCrimmon and Needham's subdivision,
according to the official plat thereof on file and of record in the office
of the County Auditor, Yakima County, Washington,
from "C" residence district, in which the same now are, to business district, and
IT APPEARING that the Yakima Planning Commission has approved and recommend-
ed such change and there having been conducted a public hearing upon the matter before
the Yakima City Commission, and it appearing to be for the best interest of the City of
Yakima to so rezone said premises, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section I. That the following described property situate in the City of
Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit:
The north one -half of Lots 1 and .2, McCrimmon and Needham's subdivision,
according to the official plat thereof, on file and of record in the
office of the County Auditor, Yakima County, Washington,
be and the same is hereby rezoned to a business district classification. The limitations
upon area for said property, as provided by the general zoning ordinance of the city
of Yakima, the same being Ordinance No. B -293, and Amendments thereto, shall remain as
the limitations provided for the fourth area district as descried therein.
Section 2. The above changes in zoning shall be included in and depicted
upon the next regularly amended height area and use district maps, prepared by and for
the city. All of the limitations on use, height and area provided for residential
districts by the general zoning ordinance of the city of Yakima, the same being
Ordinance No. B -293, and amendments thereto, are hereby declared to apply to and govern
the property described herein, from and after the effective date of this ordinance.

Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective thirty days after its
passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and pproved thisl6th day of March,
1953.
