HomeMy WebLinkAbout1953-B-1421 439 ORDINANCE NO B -1421 AN ORDINANCE rezoning Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 15 and 16, Block 390, Lots 1 and 2' in Block 410 and Lots 1, 2., 15 and 16, Block 411, Capitol Addition, from "C "' residence district to limited business district, and rezoning that portion of the East 145 feet of Tract 30, Hathaway's; Five Acre Tracts, lying north of the Union Ditch, from "B "' residence district to "C "' residence district. WHEREAS, the City Commission has duly considered the rezoning of the premises described in the caption hereof, which are situated in the City of Yakima, Yakim: County, Washington, to -wit: Lots 1, 2, .3, 4, 15 and 16, Block 390, Lots 1 and 2. in Block 410 and Lots: • 1,L2; 15` and 16, Block 411, Capitol Addition, from "C" residence district, in which the same now are, to limited business district, and That portion of the East 145 feet of Tract 30, Hathaway's five Acre Tracts lying north of the Union Ditch, from "B"' residence district,to :.."C "' residence district, and IT APPEARING that the Yakima Planning Commission has approved and recommender such changes and there haveing been conducted a public hearing upon the matters before the Yakima City Commission, and it appearing to be for the best interest of the City of Yakima to so rezone said premises, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That the following described property, situate in the City of Yakima,, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit: • Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 15 and 16, Block 390), Lots 1 and 2: in Block 410 and Lots 11, 2, 15 and 16, Block 411,, Capitol Addition, be and the same are hereby rezoned to a Limited Business District classification. The limitations upon area for said property, as yr ovided by the general zoning ordinance of the City of .Yakima, the same being Ordinance No. B -293, and Amendments thereto, shall remain as the limitations provided for the fourth area district as described therein. Section 2. That the following described property, situated in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit: That portion of the East 145 feet of Tract 30, Hathaway's Fife Acre tracts lying north of the Union Ditch, be and the same are hereby rezoned to a "C residence district classification. The: limitations upon area for said property, as provided by the general zoning ordinance of the City of Yakima, the same being Ordinance B -293, and Amendma nts thereto, shall remain as the limitations provided for the second area district, as described therein. Section 3. The above changes in zoning shall b e included in and depicted upon the next regularly amended height are and use district maps, prepared by and for the city. All . of the limitations on use, height and area provided for residential districts by the general zoning ordinance of the City of Yakima, the same being Ordinance No. B -293, and amendments thereto,, are hereby declared to spply to and govern the property described herein, from and after the effective date of this ordinance. Section 4. This ordinance shall b ecome effective 30 days after its passage, approval and pbulication as proviced by law and the City Charter.
