B -1382 { AN ORDINANCE providing for the expenditure of funds for the purpose of improving the North side of Nob Hill from 16th Avenue South to the West corporate city limits, which said funds were not provided for in the 1952 budget, and declaring an emergency. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:° Section 16 That an emergency exists, requiring the expenditure of not to exceed $15,000.00, for the improvement of the north side of Nob Hi11,Boulevard from 16th Avenue South to the west corporate city limits, by grading, ballasting, surfacing and constructing concrete curbs and gutters, the improvement of which could not have been reasonably foreseen at the time of the adoption of the 1952. budget. Section 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to issue emergency warrants upon the funds of the City of Yakima, properly chargeable therefor, upon the presentation of proper vouchers for the cost of labor and material in the improvement of the north side of Nob Hill. Boulevard from 16th Avenue South to the west corporate city limits, in an aggregate amount not to exceed $15,,000.00. S ection 3. This ordinance is one to provide for the expenditure of funds not budgeted,iand an emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charters PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 14th day of July, 1952..
