B -1321 L' BY O Roi�vArvcc �t ®. 6 AN ORDINANCE amending Section 71-d3 and 1 -d4 of Ordinance No. B-1267, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE amending Sections7l -a of Ordinance No B -131, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating traffic, travel and transportation and their incidents upon the streets and other ways open to the public; prescribing the powers and duties of officers and others in relation thereto; defining offenses, providing penalties and -repealing certain - ordinances concerned with or relating.to the subject matter of this ordinance, and declaring an emergency.!; as amended by Ordinances No, B B-956, B -1068, B -1186, B -1192, 8-1246, B -1247, and B -1261; and declaring an emergency." and declaring an emergency. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: . Section 1. That Section 71 -d3 of Ordinance No. B -1267, passed and approved by the City Commission on the 23rd day of July, 1951, and entitled as set forth in caption hereof, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 71-d2 Upon the approval of the application by the Mier of Police of the City of Yakima, said approved application shall be presented by the applicant to the City Treasurer of the City of Yakima; and' he shall pay the said City Treasurer a deposit of $5.00; together with one month's rental of said meter hood, in the sum of $3.00." Section 2. That section 71 -d4 of Ordinance No. B -1267, passed and approved by the City Commission on the 23rd day of July, 1951, and entitled as set forth in the caption hereof, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 71 -d4. The rental charge for the use of said meter Moods is hereby established at $3.00 per month for a period of 30 days from date of issuance of hood, or $30.00 per year; all rental fees payable in advance." Section 3. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preservation of public peace, property, health and safety of the people of the City of Yakima, an emergency is hereby declared to exist; and said ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, approval and publication as provided for in the City Uharter.
