REPEALED eY ORDINANCE NO..bb: a ORDINANCE N0. B1316
AN ORDINANCE - amending Section 72 of Ordinance No. B -131, entitled :. "AN ORDINANCE
relating to and regulating traffic, travel and transportation and
their incidents upon the streets and other ways open to the public;
prescribing the powers and duties of officers and other in relation
thereto; defining offenses; providing penalties and repealing certain
ordinances concerned with or relating to the subject matter of this
ordinance, and declaring an emergency."; and amendments thereto; and
declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: .
Section 1. That Section 72 of Ordinance No. B- 131'passed and approved
by the City Commission on February 26, 1936, and entitled as set forth in the
caption hereof, be and the same is hereby amended by adding immediately following.
Section 72 (c) the following section, to be designated and to read as follows:
"Section 72 (d) :, No vehicle exceeding in width 72 feet, or
exceeding in length 20 feet, shall be parked on any street
in any residential zone in the City of Yakima, for a period
exceeding one hour continuous time; except for, the
expeditious loading or unloading of articles or materials."
Section 2. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate
preservation of public peace, property, health and safety of the pe ople of the City
of Yakima; an emergency is hereby declared to exist; and said ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, approval and publication
as provided for in the City Charter.
PASSED BY TEE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved, this 29th day of
October, 1951.
