F3 -1238 AN ORDINANCE amending sub - section 7 of Section 1, by adding thereto a new sub - division, to be numbered "Sub- section 7 (a)" of said Section 1; and amending said Section 1, by adding two new sub - sections thereto, to be numbered sub- sections 62 and 63; and amending Section 2, by adding a new sub - section to said Section 2, to be numbered "sub- section 17 "; all in Ordinance No. A -236 of the City of Yakima, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE for the preservation of the public peace, safety, morality and good order in the City of Yakima; defining who are disorderly persons and vagrants; providing penalties for the violation thereof; repealing ordinances numbered 9, 11, 13, 18, 25, 49, 86, 163, 172, 174, 182, 193, 213, 214, 215, 216, 219, 223, 227, 241, 271, 286, 295, 433, 498, 521, 618, 634, 652, 720, 730, 841, 857, A -19, A -29, A -31, A -52, A -73, A -97 and A -134 and all other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, and declaring and emergency. "; and amendments thereto; and declaring an emergency. BE IT ORDAIND BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That sub- section 7 of Section .1 of Ordinance No. A -236 of the City of Yakima, entitled as above, passed and approved January 2, 1917, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto sub- division 7 (a), to read as follows; to -wit: "Section 1. " 7 (a) Any person in said city having a permit to carry a concealed weapon, who shall not have said permit in his immediate possession at all times when carrying a concealed weapon; or having said permit in his immediate possession, shall refuse to display the same to any peace officer upon demand by said peace officer." . Section 2. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. A -236 of the City of Yakima, entitled as above, passed and approved January 2, 1917, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a new sub-section; to be numbered 62, as follows: " 62. Any person who refuses to have the premises occupied by another person, after being ordered to leave the premises by the legal occupant thereof." Section 3. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. A -236 of the City of Yakima, entitled as above, passed and approved January 2; 1917, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a new sub - section; to be numbered 63, as follows: " 63. Any person who, without invitation, and while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, shall go or remain upon the premises of another." Section 4. .That Section 2 of Ordinance No. A -236 of the City of vakima, entitled as above, passed and approved by the City Commission on the 2nd day of January, 1917; be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a new sub- section, to be numbered 17; as follows: " 17. Any male person who appears in a public place in the 'City of Yakima attired in women's clothing; provided, However, that such appearance when such male person is appearing as a participant in a public entertainment, is not prohibited." Section 5. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preserva- tion of public peace, property, health and safety of the people of the City of Yakima; an emergency is hereby declared to exist; and said ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, approval and publication as pro- vided for in the City Charter.
