B -1230 AN ORDINANCE amending Section 2 of Ordinance No. A -346, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE regu- lating and controlling barber shops, fixing an annual license fee there- for, providing an annual license fee therefor and fixing a penalty for the violation of this ordinance and declaring an emergency. "; as amended by Ordinance No. B -749; and declaring an emergency. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. A -346, passed and approved by the City Commission on the 10th day of June, 1918, and entitled as set forth in the caption hereof; and the amendment thereto by Ordinance No. B -749, passed and approved by the City .Commission on December 11, 1946; be and the same is- hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 2. The license fee for each person, firm or corporation operating and conducting a barber shop within the corporate limits of the City of Yakima, shall be the sum of 132..50 per year for each chair so operated, used, or installed for use in any such barber' shop; and said sum shall be paid to the City Treasurer, who shall issue his receipt therefor." Section 2. This Ordinance is one affecting the public pa ace, health and safety of the people of the City of Yakima, and an emergency therefore exists; and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by the City Charter.
