ORDINANCE NO. B -1222
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 10 of Ordinance No. B -1215, entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE granting a non - exclusive franchise to
CARL A HAHN AND WALTER S. PHILIPP, a co- partnership
doing business under the name of INTERVALLEY MOTOR
COACH COMPANY, to operate motor vehicles commonly
known as "motor coaches ", on certain public streets
in the City of Yakima; and to receive and discharge
passengers at certain points on said public streets. ";
and declaring an emergency.
BE 'I T ORDAINED BY THE .CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That Section 10 of Ordinance No. B -1215, passed and approved
by the City Commission on January 25, 1951, and entitled as set forth in the caption
hereof, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 10. This Ordinance shall be submitted to the vote of
the electors of the City of Yakima at the Primary Election to
be held in the City on the 9th day of September, 1952; and
shall become effective on that day, if approved by a majority
of the electors voting thereon."
Section 2. This Ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preserva-
tion of public peace, health, walfare and safety of the people of the City of Yakima;
and an emergency is hereby declared to exist; and said Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and a this 19th day of
February, 1951.

law.
