ORDINANCE NO. B -1144
AN ORDINANCE providing for the expenditure of funds not budgeted for construction
costs of the municipal airport administration building, and declaring
an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That an emergency exists requiring the expenditure of an
additional $24,000.00 to defray the balance of the City's share of construction costs .
on the Yakima Municipal Airport building, it appearing that funds therefor were not
appropriated by or included in the 1950 budget and that it was impossible at the time
of making said budget to have reasonably foreseen the need for such additional moneys
for such construction.
Section 2. The City Treasurer, is hereby authorized, empowered and direct-
ed to issue emergency warrants upon the funds properly chargeable therefor for said
additional construction cost in a sum not to exceed $24,000.00, upon the presentation
of proper vouchers therefor.
Section 3. This ordinance is one providing for the expenditure of funds
not budgeted and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be-
come effective immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by
law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 29th day of May,
1950. -
