ORDINANCE NO B-10 A7
AN ORDINANCE providing for the expenditure of funds not provided for in the 1950
Budget .for the purpose of purchasing equipment for the Police Department,
and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: .
Section 1. That an emergency exists requiring the purchase of additional
equipment to be used in the Police Department, said equipment consisting of two
tabulating machines, the same to cost not to exceed $300.00, and it appearing that
funds therefor were not included in the 1950 Budget, and it having been impossible
at the time of making said Budget to have reasonably foreseen the need for such ad-
ditional equipment.
Section 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized, empowered and directs.
to issue emergency warrants upon the funds properly chargeable therefor for said
additional equipment in a sum not to exceed $300.00 in the aggregate, upon the present-
ation of proper vouchers therefor.
Section 3. This ordinance is one providing for the expenditure of funds
not budgeted and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as
provided by law and City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 16th day of
January, 1950.
