AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District
No. 665 as created and establisned by Ordinance No. B -1010 of the
Ordinances of the City of Yakima. ..

BE I•l• ORDAINED BY THE uITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. i nat tne assessment roll of Local Improvement District
No. 665 as created and establisned by 'Ordinance No. 9 1010 of the City of Yakima,
is now on file. in the office of the Clerk of the City of Yakima, and the assessments
contained therein and. leading up thereto, to wnicn no objections nave been made
or filed by any person, are all in accordance with the laws of the State of
Washington, and the ordinances of the City of Yakima, and tne same, and each and
every part thereof,' are nereby approved and confirmed, and tne tracts and parcels
of land described cnerein as being assessed for tne improvement made in said
Local Improvement District, are hereby declared to be especially benefited thereby
to the•extent of the assessments respectively assessed against them in said
assessment roll, and said tracts and parcels of land are hereby assessed the amount
charged against tne same. as therein set fortn and specified.
Section 2.. The amount of tile. assessment charged against and levied
upon each trade and parcel of land in and by said assessment roll or any portion
of such sum, may be paid at any time within thirty (30) days from tne date of the
first publication of the Notice of the City Treasurer hereinafter provided for,
without penalty, interest or costs, and.tnerea.fter tne sum remaining unpaid may
be'paid in 10 annual installments with interest on the whole unpaid sum so
cnarged and assessed at. the race of 4 per cent per. annum.
Section j. The .City Ulerk is hereby directed to forihwitn furnish
the City Treasurer with a certified copy of said assessment roll, and said City
Treasurer shall thereupon publish a notice in the official newspaper of'said City .
for a period of 10 successive dialy issues thereof, and mail like notices to every
owner of any tract or parcel of land witnin said Local Improvement District whose
post office address is known, which notices shall state that said assessment roll
is in ner, for collection and any assessments thereon, or any part or portion
thereof, may be paid at any time. within thirty (30) days from the date of the
first publication of' said notice, without penalty, interest or costs, and that
the unpaid balance, if any, maybe paid in 10 equal annual installments or the
lien of any such assessment may be discharged at any time after the said thirty
(30) days by paying the entire unpaid portion thereon, witn all penalty and costs
attached, together with all interest thereon to the date of delinquency of. the
installments thereof next falling due, and that all unpaid amounts after said
thirty (30) days period shall bear interest 4t the rate of 4 per cent per annum,
and any installments not paid when due shall become delinquent and be subject
co a charge of five per cent (5%) penalty upon ootn principal and interest due
thereon.
