Roll CaII • Present: Council: Mayor Dave Edler,'presiding, Assistant Mayor Micah Cawley, Council Members Kathy Coffey, Rick Ensey, Bill Lover, Neil McClure and Sonia Rodriguez Staff: City Manager Zais, Acting City Attorney Cutter, and Acting City Clerk Roberts 2. Review of Boards and Committees /Commissions Assignments During discussion, the following mbtions were made: • McCLURE MOVED AND ENSEY SECONDED TO REMOVE THE ONDS CONSOLIDATED PLAN DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. • CAWLEY MOVED AND ENSEY SECONDED TO COMBINE THE UNION GAP /CITY OF YAKIMA INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMITTEE WITH THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. • CAWLEY MOVED AND McCLURE SECONDED TO ELIMINATE THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL FIRE SERVICE COMMITTEE AND REPORT THROUGH THE PUIBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE. The motion carried by a 6 -1 voice vote; Lover voting no. Community Relations Manager Beehler noted that the Southeast Community Center was not on the list. Council Member Cawley said it was not a Council- appointed committee, qut a City Manager appointed one. He added that the ordinance does not require a Council member but a liaison would be welcome.
