Clark present on roll call Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 14th, 1931 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Mashburn that the City Engineer having reported the comple- tion of the improvement of constructing a sewer in Learaings Addition, Local Improvement District No. 499, by the contractor, J. M. DeBlasio in the sum of $9,029.76; it is or- dered that said work be accepted and the City Engineer.ordered to prepare an,'assessment roll for.said district and the City Clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, January 11th, 1932 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by ?Washburn that this being the time for receibing bids for constructing a sewer between South 9th and 10th Streets, Local Improvement District No. 501, the following were received: R-.A. Geary $3,194.r-0 J. M. DeBlasio 3,101.61 Union Concrete Pipe Co 21756.78 'H. Huston 2,721-12 The bid of H. Huston in the sum of $2,721.12 being the lowest and best bid said contract was awarded to him and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City upon the filing of the proper bond: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -22, entitled, 10An Ordinance regulating and restricting the 14cation of trades and industries; regulating and limiting the use of buildings and premises and the height and size of buildings; providing for yards, courts or other open spaces; and establishing districts for the said purposes1°, was introduced by Stratton and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -22 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Roved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -22 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -22 he passed as finally read: carried, Stratton, 'Mashburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. 0-28, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 8, Block 197, East Home Addition to Yakima, to Fred F. Hawkins and Mary Agnes Hawkins, husband and wife. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following described real estate situated in-.Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: Lot 8, Block 197, East Home Addition to Yakima, according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington by reason of a deed therefor issued by the City Treasurer of said City of Yakima to said City of Yakima on sale of said property for delinquent Local Improvement Assessments, and WHEREAS, in pursuance to Resolution No. B -1135 the said City of Yakima entered into an agreement with Fred F. Hawkins and.Mary Agnes Hawkins, husband and wife wherein the said Fred F. and Mary Agnes Hawkins agreed to purchase said pro- perty for the total sum of One Hundred Three and 98/100 ($103.98) Dollars, and WHEREAS, the said purchase price has been paid in full, and all obligations of the second parties under said agreement have been fulfilled, NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That the said above -described _premises be and they are hereby authorized to be sold to FRED F. HAWKINS and MARY AGNES HAWKINS, husband and wife, and the Mayor, W. W. Stratton and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, are hereby authorized to execute and attest a deed to said premises for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima.
