November 23, 1931
The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
November 16, 1931.and adjourned meeting thereof be approved a's read: carried, Stratton,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call._
RESOLUTION NO. C -22, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of that part of Lot 15, Block 330,
Ker's Second Addition to North Yakima, Now Yakima, Washington, according to "the official
plat thereof now of file and of record.in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, _
Washington, lying north of Summitview Avenue right of way, according to the plans there-
of now on file in the office of the City Clerk as ordinance No. B -13, to JOHN F. CHESTER®
LEIS and HELEN GREENE CHESTERLEY, husband and wife.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is now the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situate in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -.wit:
That part of Lot 15, Block 330, Ker's Second Addition
to North Yakima, now Yakima, Washington, according to
the official plat thereof now on file and of record in.
the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington,
lying north of Suinmitview Avenue right of way, accord-
ing to the plans thereof now on file in the office of
the City Clerk of Yakima, Washington as ordinance No.
B -13, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to JOHN F. CHESTERLEY and HELEN GREENE CHESTERLEY, husband
and wife.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That the said above described premises be and they are hereby
authorized to be sold to JOHN F. CHESTERLEY and HELEN GREENE CHESTERLEY, husband and
wife for the sum of One and 00 /100 ($1.00) Dollars, and the Mayor,. W. W. Stratton, is
hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin,
is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the City of
Yakima.
DATED AT YAKIMA, WASHINGTON,- this November 23, 1931.

ORDINANCE NO. B -19, . entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the sale of property 'by auction,
the issuing of licenses and the payment of fees and charges for regulation and revenue,
th-e, furnishing of bonds, penalties for the biolation thereof, repealing other ordinances
and declaring an emergency;" was introduced by Stratton and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -18 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -18 be passed to its .third read-
ing and. read in full:. carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -1g be passed as finally read:
carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting a.ye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -19,. entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the storing and piling of
empty wood fruit boxes upon outside balconies and platforms of warehouses and in vacant
lots within the corporate limits of the City of Yakima, providing a penalty for the
violation thereof", was introduced by Stratton and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -19 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
