RESOLUTION NO. C -18, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 1, Block 3, Rhines Fair-
view Addition to Yakima, Washington, according to the official plat thereof now on file
and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, to PERCY FRANK
BARWELL, a single man.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is now the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situate in Yakima., Yakima, County, Washington, to -wit:
Lot 1, Block 3, Rhines Fairview
Addition to Yakima, according
to the official plat thereof
now on file and of record in
the office of the auditor of
Yakima County, Washington,
by reason of a deed therefor issued by the County Treasurer of Yakima County, State of
Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent taxes, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to PERCY FRANK BARWELL, a single man, upon the terms here-
inafter set forth,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said. above described premises be'a nd they are hereby authorized
to be sold to PERCY FRANK BARWELL, a single man, for the total sum of Two Hundred and
00/100 (200.00) Dollars, payable as follows; the sum of Six and OO /100 ($6.00) Dollars
in monthly payments beginning January 1, 1932 and continuing until the total sum of Two
Hundred Dollars has-been paid in full. All deferred payments to bear interest at the
rate of six (64o) per cent per annum payable monthly with principal payments, and
The Mayor, Honorable W. W. Stratton and the City Clerk, Pearl
Benjamin, are hereby authorized and directed to enter into and agreement of purchase
with said purchaser under the terms hereinabove set forth.

RESOLUTION NO. C -19, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASH-
INGTON:
That it is the intention of the City Commission of said City of
Yakima, 'Washington, to construct an eight inch pipe sewer in the alley between South
Ninth Street and South Tenth Street, extending from Race Street to the north line of
Maple Addition, all in the City of Yakima, Washington, together with five manholes, one
flush tank and sixty -eight wye.branches, and by doing all such other work as may be
necessary in connection therewith; all in accordance with plans and specifications there -
for.to be prepared by the City Engineer and to be filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City
Commission to be held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,
Washington, at the hour of 9:00 o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 7th day of December, 1931,
which time and place are fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said. proposed
improvement, all objections thereto and for determining the method of payment therefor,
and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and the inten-
tion to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and
assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor, as pro-
vided by laii, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission
at 6."r..-prior to the time fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other infor-
mation required by law to be submitted by him.

i RESOLUTION NO: 0®20, ,:At,petition':having .been filed by the owners of more than t:�io- thirds
of'the private property abutting upon a portion of the streets designated as follows:
The north 30 feet and the south 30 feet of Nest A Street,
between the east line of 11th Avenue north and the west line
of the alley in Block 390, Capitol Addition extended;
The north 30 feet and the south 30 feet of West A Street,
between the east line of the alley in Block 3901 Capitol
Addition extended, and the west line of 10th Avenue North;
All that part of West A Street between the east line of
10th Avenue North and the West line of the alley in Block
370, Capitol Addition extended;
All that part of West A Street lying east of the east line
of the alley in Block 370, Capitol Addition extended, and.
a line parallel with and 60 feet south of the south line
of Mac - Crimmon and Needha.m's Subdivision;
and it appearing that said petitioners are the owners of more than two - thirds of the
private property abutting upon said parts of the street sought to be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said petition shall come on
for hearing before the City Commission of the City of Yakima, Washington, at ten o'clock
A. M., on the 7th day of December, 1931, at which said time said petition shall be heard
and determined.
The Clerk of the City of Yakima is hereby authorized and directed
to give twenty ( 20) days' notice of the pendency of said petition by written notice
posted in three (3) of the most public.places of the City of Yakima, and a like notice
on the portion of the street sought to be vacated; that said notice shall contain a
statement that the petition has been filed to vacate a portion of West A Street, which
shall be described in said notice, together with the time and place fixed for the hear-
ing of said petition.

RESOLUTION NO. C -21, WHEREAS, Article 111, of Ordinance No. A -1229, passed by the City
Commission of the City of Yakima, Washington, on the 22nd day of September, 1930, pro-
vided, among other things, that the City Commission determine and designate traffic
signs and signals to be placed upon the streets and alleys of said city, subsequent to
the passage of said ordinance, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient by the City Commission to cause
stop signs to be placed upon various streets of the City of Yakima for the protection
and safety of the people of said city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City
of Yakima, that stop signs be placed at the intersection of the following named streets,
to -wit:
One on the south side of Summitview Avenue at 16th Avenue;
One on the north and one on the south side of Summitview Avenue
at Hall Avenue;
One on the south side of Summitview Avenue at Eleventh Avenue, and
One on the north side of Nest Yakima Avenue at Seventh Avenue North.
