Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon- day, September 14th, 1931 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call RESOLUTION NO. C -16, WHEREAS, Section 6, of Article V1, of the Charter of the City of Yakima, provides that the city in cases of emergency, may purchase material when the cost thereof exceeds the sum of $500.00, by resolution; and WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient and necessary that the City pur- chase an automobile to be used in the Fire Department of said city; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City -of Yakima, that the City Commission of the City of Yakima purchase a ca.r for the use and benefit of the Fire Department of said city for the sum of $850.00,.the same to be paid for by warrant drawn upon the Current Expense fund of said city. B -10, entitled, "An Ordinance regulating the erection, construction, en- largement, alteration, repair, moving, removal,. demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment -, use, height, area, and maintenance of buildings and / or'structures in the City of Yakima; providing for the issuance of permits and.collection of fees therefor; declaring and establishing Fire Districts; providing penalties for the violation there - of,.and repealing all ordinances and / or parts of ordinances in conflict therewith," was_- introduced by Stratton and read by the City-Clerk. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -10 be passed to its second reading and reed by title only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -10 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by_Washburn, seconded by Stratton that Ordinance No. B -12 be passed to its sec- ond reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that Ordinance No. B -12 be passed to its third reading and,read in full: carried., Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that the payrolls for the following departments be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept'. $998.00; Cemetery $150.00; Cemetery Care $370.00; Park $562.00; Trimming Trees $40.00: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
