RESOLUTION NO. 0-8, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of lot 8, block 330, Ker's Sec- ond addition to North Yakima, now Yakima, Washington, according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Wash- ington, to Richard Strobach. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is now the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: Lot 8, block 330, Ker's Second addition to North Ya'kim ;. now'�Yakima; V�ash'iVgton, ..accord. i�g. toAthe- official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditorof Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, on sale of said property for delinquent assessments, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of said City of Yakima to sell said premises to the said Richard Strobach, NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That said above described premises be and the same are hereby, authorized to be sold to RICHARD STROBACH, for the total sum of Two Hundred Fifty -three and 52/100 ($253.52) Dollars, and the Commissioner of Finance and Accounting, Ray Wash- burn, as Mayor pro tem, is hereby authorized to execute a deed to the said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and.on behalf of the said City of Yakima.. C -9, WHEREAS, Section 6, of Article V1, of the Charter of the City of Yakima, provides that the city in cases of emergency, may purchase material when the cost thereof exceeds the-sum of $500.00, by resolution; and WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient and necessary that the City pur- chase a Ford truck to be used in the Water Department of said city; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA; that the City Commission of the City of Yakima, purchase a Ford truck for the use and benefit of the Water Department of said city for the sum of $867.04, the same to be paid for by warrant drawn upon the Water Fund of said city. RESOLUTION NO. 0-10, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 12, Block 55, Town of North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, to JOHN W. ITORKEN and MARY MORKEN, husband and wife. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is now the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: Lot 12, Block 55, Town of North Yakima (now Yakima) according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of Yakima County, Washington, on sale of said property for delinquent taxes, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of said City of Yakima to sell said premises to JOHN W. MORKEN and MARY MORKEN, husband and wife, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That said-described premises be and they.are hereby authorized to be sold to JOHN W. MORKEN and .MARY MORKEN, husband and wife, for the total sum.of Twelve Hunddred. Fifty and OOf100 ($1250.00) Dollars, and the Commissioner, of Finance and Ac- counting, Ray Washburn, Mayor pro tem, is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin is hereby authorized and directed to at- test the same for and on behalf of the City of Yakima.
