The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Clark and
Traub present on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of .Monday,
June 5th, 1931 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Stratton,
Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the Street, Park, Cemetery and Water payrolls
be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor: carried, Stratton,
Clark and Traub voting aye on_roll call..

olution No. B -1191 for vacating the alley in Block 227, and there being no protests in
writing or otherwise.to said vacation or on any part thereof; it is ordered that the
ordinance vacating said property be passed as finally read: carried, Stratton, Clark

RESOLUTION NO. B -1193, A RESOLUTION authorizing the transfer of title of-.the following
described real-estate, to- wit.: Beg nning at-.a point 405.6 feet South of the Northeast
corner of the Southeast quarter%(SE ) of the Northeast quarter (NE4) of the Northeast
quarter (NEJ) of Sedtion 19; Township 13 North, Range 19 E.W.M., thence South 10 feet;
thence West 484.5 feet; thence North 210 05'.West.10 feet; thence east 487,5 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning; less any portion thereof that is used for street
or alley, to WALTER C. COPE, whose wife's name is INEZ S COPE.
WHEREAS,.the City of Yakima is the owner.of the following de-
scribed property situated in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit:
Beginning at a point 405.6 feet South of the Northeast
corner of the Southeast quarter (SE-0 of the Northeast
quarter (NEk) of the Northeast quarter Mk) of Section
19, Township 13 North, Range 19 E.W.M., thence South
10 feet; thence West 484.5 feet; thence North 20 05'
West 10 feet; thence East 487.5 feet, more or less;
to the point of beginning; less any portion thereof

according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by Albert H.
Huebner and wife to the said City of Yakima.
WHEREAS, it appears that the description in said deed from Albert
H.-Huebner and wife, to the City of Yakima was not correct, in that it included the pro-
perty hereindescribed and that the City.of Yakima claims no interest in the said property,
and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of said City of
Yakima to transfer said property to 'WALTER C. COPE, whose wife's name is INEZ S. COPE.-
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and. they are hereby author-
ized to be transferred to the said WALTER C. COPE, whose wife's name is INEZ S. COPE,
by a good and sufficient QUIT CLAIM DEED, and the Mayor, W. W. STRATTON, is hereby au-
thorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, PEARL BENJAMIN is here-
by authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the City of Yakima.
Dated at Yakima, Washington, this 17th day of June, A. D. 1931.

OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author-
ized to be sold to FRANK REDA and ANNA REDA, husband and wife for the total sum of FIVE
HUNDRED FIFTY and 00 /1.00 ($550.00) Ddllars, and the Mayor, W. W. STRATTON, is hereby
authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, PEARL BENJAMIN, is
hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the City of Yaki-
ma.

RESOLUTION NO. B ®1195, A RESOLUTION confirming and ratifying the sale of Bonds No. 204,
396) 397, 398, 399 and 400 of Port of Seattle Smith's Cove General Obligation of the de-
nomination of $1,000 each to the YAKIMA SAVINGS & LOAN ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima, a municipal corporation was the own-
er of the.f ollowing described-Bonds:
$6,000 par value Port of Seattle
Smith's Cove General Obligation
Bonds, Nos. 204, 396, 397, 398,
399 and 400, each bond of $1000
denomination.
and,
WHEREAS, it appears that said bonds were sold by RAY WASHBURN,
Treasurer of the said City of Yakima,.to the YAKIMA SAVINGS & LOAN ASSOCIATION and that
said sale was for the best interests of the City of Yakima and that the proceeds of
said sale have been properly credited to the said City of Yakima.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That the said sale of the Bonds as hereinbefore described be and
the same is hereby confirmed and the action of the said RAY WASHBURN, Treasurer of the
City of Yakima, in handling said- sale be approved and ratified.
