Moved by Stratton,oseconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
April 20, 1931 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on
roll cell.
ORDINANCE NO. A -1286, entitled, "An Ordinance granting to the Northern:Pacific Rail-
way Company, a corporation of the State of Wisconsin, and to its successors and assigns,
the right, privilege and authority of building, constructing, maintaining, and operat-
ing a certain railway tract in the city of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington," was in-
troduced by Stratton and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A -1286 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A -1286 be passed to its third
reading and read in full: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A -1286 be passed as finally
read: carried, Stratton; Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. A-12,57, entitled•, "An Ordinance providing for the submitting of a proposed
charter for the City of Yakima, Washington, to the qualified noters of the City of
Yakima, and for the election of officers as provided in such charter, providing for the
date and places of holding such election, naming election officers therefor, providing
for the giving of notice of such election, providing the form of ballot and for the
printing of ballots, for the filing; of statements and petitions for candidacy, fixing
the compensation of election officers and providing the method of canvassing results,"
was introduced by Stratton and read by the City Clerk.

call.
