Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the contract submitted by the Washington Flag and'Decorating Co, for one -half expense for decorating the City during State Fair Week, in the sum of $75.00 is hereby approved: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the application of J. E. Klingele for per- mission to conduct a retail service station for the sale of gasoline, oil and motor vehicle supplies at No. 606 South First Street, in the City of Yakima is hereby granted: carried, Stratten,.Clark and Traub voting_aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. A -1282, entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction -of a sewer, establishing a Local Improvement District, providing for the method of payment therefor and, -creating a special fund ", was introduced by Traub and read by the City Clerk.
