Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub
voting aye on roll. call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Clark that this being the time for receiving bids for con-
structing a reservoir for the West Yakima Water System, the following were received :'

The bid of Long & Cox in the sum of $3,132.60 being the lowest and
best bid said contract was awarded to them: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting
aye.on roll call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution
No. B -1176 for constructing a sewer on Second Avenue South, Division Street and other
streets in the City of Yakima, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to
said improvement or any part thereof;. it is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local
Improvement District be laid on the table for one week: carried, Stratton, Clark and
Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by-Stratton that the Associated Oil Co. be awarded the contract
for furnishing the gasoline for the City for the ensuing year at 13, cts per gallon:

RESOLUTION NO. B -1181, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA;
WASHINGTON:
That it is the intention of the City Commission of the City of
Yakima, Washington, to improve South Sixth Street from East Spruce Street to East ,
Beech Street, and South Seventh Street from East Yakima Avenue to East Pine Street, in
the City of Yakima, Washington, by grading and paving the same with a one course Port-
land cement concrete pavement; the pavement on South Sixth Street to be 40 feet in width
and on South Seventh Street to be 40 feet in width from East Yakima Avenue to East Chest
nut Street and 32 feet in width from East Chestnut Street to East Pine Street, by con-
structing the necessary curbs, sidewalks and siphons_ and by doing all such other work
as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with the plans and-speci-
fications therefor to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve-
ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the
City Commission to be held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of
Yakima, Washington, at the hour of 9 :00 o'clock A.M., on Monday, the 4th day of May,
1931, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to
said-.proposed improvement therefor and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due
notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The costs and expenses of said improvement shall be borne by and
assessed a gainstall of the property legally and properly assessable therefor, as pro-
vided by law, and the City Engineer is hereby.directed to submit of the City Commission
at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other infor-
mation required by law to be submitted by him.

Street and East A Street from North Sixth Street to North Eighth Street, in the City
of Yakima, Washington, by grading and paving the same with a one course Portland ce-
ment concrete pavement; the pavement on North Eighth Street to be 40 feet in width
and on East A Street to be 32 feet in width; by constructing the necessary curbs, side-
walks and siphons, and by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection
therewith, all in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared
by the City Engineer and f fled, with the City Clerk.

structing the reservoir for the nest Yakima Water System, in the sum of $3,132.60 is
hereby approved and filed with the City Clerk: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting
aye_. on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday, April 1,
1931 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
