The City Commission met in regular session,
Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Clark and
Traub present on roll call.
Moved by - Stratton, seconded by Clark that the
February 16th, 1931 be approved as read: cafried.,
minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye
on roll call.
Moved by Clarkq seconded by Stratton that the
City Clerk is hereby authorized to adver-
tise for bids for the electrical work and plumbing
for the new Warehouse on South 4th
Avenue and Pine Street; said bids to be received
on Wednesday, March 11th, 1931 at 10
o'clock A. M: carried, Stratton, Clark and
Traub voting aye on roll call*-
Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that this
being the time for the hearing for va-
cating a portion of West Spruce Street lying
between Lot 9, Block 213, and Lot 12 Block
214 of the original townsite) and there being
no protest in writing or otherwise to said
vacation proceedings or any part thereof; it
is ordered that the ordinance vacating said
property be passed as finally-read: carrie
Stratton,' Clark and Traub voting aye on
roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. A-1277, entitled, "An Ordinance
vacating that portion of West Spruce Street
lying between Lot 8, Block 213p and Lot :1 - 2
Block 214, of the original.townsite of North
Yakima, Washington, according-to the official
and recorded recorded plat thereof now on
file and of record in the office of the Auditor
of Yakima County-, Washington", was in-
troduced by Stratton and read-by the City C.erk.

Section 4. The City Clerk shall cause-to be printed upon said ballots
the name of each qualified elector who shall have duly filed his declaration of candi-
dacy as prescribed in Ordinance No. A -1276. In addition to the printed names of candi-
dates upon said ballots, the Clerk shall also leave blank spaces thereon for the writ-
ing in of at least five additional names.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION this 24th day of February, 1931.
