The City Commission met in regular ses=sion, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Clark and
Traub present on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
January 19th, 1931 be approved as read: - carried, - Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye
on roll call.
Loved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the appointment of.Phil A. Ditter to serve
as-trustee on the Library Board for a period of five years or. until- his successor is
duly appointed and has qualified is hereby approved: carried, Stratton, Clark and.Traub
voting aye on roll call.
I- -loved by Clerk, seconded by Traub that the petition of the -John Dower Lumber Co for
vacating a portion of West Spruce Street be laid on the table for one week: carried,
Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to ad-
vertise for bids for constructing the City Warehouse; said bids to be received on Mon-
day, February 16th, 1931 at 10 o'clock A.M: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting
aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. A -1272, entitled, "An Ordinance fixing the time. of delinquency of the .
asses "sments levied for the payment of the cost and expense of the improvements in Lo-
cal Improvement District No. 472, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons
attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof ", was introduced by Stratton
and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Traub that Ordinance No. A -1272 be passed to its second
reading and read by -title only: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Traub that Ordinance No= 1272 be passed to its third read-
ing, and read in full: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.

Loved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that the payrolls for the Street Dept.,Cemetery
