The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Clark and
Traub present on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by,Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon---
day, December 29th, 1930 be approved as read: carried,.Stratton, Clark and Traub vot-
ing aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. A -1265, entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the improvement of property
in the City of Yakima, Washington, bythe construction of a sewer, establishing a Local
Improvement District, providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a spec-
ial fund ", was introduced by Traub and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by.Stratton that Ordinance No. A -1265 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that Ordinance No. A -1265 be passed to its third
reading and read in full: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that Ordinance No. A-1265 be passed as finally
read: carried, Stratton,_Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give
notice to contractors for constructing asewer along Fifth and Sixth Avenues in -Local
Improvement District No. 496; said. bids to 'be received on Monday, January 19th, 1931
at 10 o'clock A.M: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll, call.
I:ioved by Traub, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 494, and there being no protests in
writing or otherwise to said assessment or any part thereof; it is ordered that the
ordinance confirming said assessment mll and every part thereof be passed as finally
read: carried., Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. A -1266, entitled: "An Ordinance confirming the assessment.mll aDvering
Local Imix ovement District No. 494, as created-and established by Ordinance No. A-
1245 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Traub and read by the
City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that Ordinance No. A -1266 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Clark and. Traub voting aye on roll
call.
