Moved. by Coonse, seconded by Dudley, that -the application of R.A.Geary,contractor, in Local Improvement District No-459 for an extension of time to April lst,1929, is hereby granted. and the consent of the Bonding Company filed. with said applicat ion; carri ed, Dudley,Hedges and. RESOLUTION NO.B- 1071,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMAISSION OF TAE CITY OF YAKI]JiA, 71ASH-INGTON: That it is the intention of the City Co'mmisuion of the City of Yakima, Washington, to improve South Front Street from East Walnut Street to Fast Spruce Street, and East Spruce Street from South Front Street to South First Street, and the lley extending northerly and. southerly through Block 13 in the original town of North Yakima,now Yakima, Washington, according to the official plat thereof., by grading and paving the sairie v:ith either a one course concrete pavement, a "Vibrolithic concrete pavement, or an aspAaltic concrete pavement, the paver ,ient on South Front. Street • to be 46 feet in wid.th..and .th.e pavement on East Sptruc& Street to be ,40. feet in width, and. the pavement in the alley in said. Block 13 to be 20 feet in width,, by con- structing concrete curb.s along both sides of the pavement on East Spruce Street and a combined. curb and gutter along the east side of-the pavement on South Front Street, by constructing an eight inch vitrified clay pipe sewer beginning at a point about 60 feet south of East Walnut Street and extending thence' southerly along South .Front Street, to. East. Spruce ..Street.„.. and.:Ahence.. east er.ly along. East Spruce Street, to.,, the sewer heret.of.or.e constructed in the alley east of South Front Street, and by. .doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with plans and specifications therefor prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. . A11 persons who may desire- to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and. present such objections at a meeting of the City Commission to b.e held at its offices in the City Office •Building - in the City of Yak ima, Wash ington, at the hour -of 9 o' clock A.M. on Monday, the 18th day of TJiarch, 1929, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed, improvement, all objections thereto, and for determining the method. of payment therefor, and the City .Clerk is hereby directed to give 'due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assesse against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor, as provided by law, and. the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other - information required by law to be. submitted by him.
