Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that a plat designated as "Palatine Addition" to
Yakima having been presented to the City Commission by Joseph S. Baker et ux and A. F.
Petrick, a. widower, dedicating.the West 3/4 of NWT of SE4 of SWI- of Section 23- 13 -1 -5,
E. W. M. except the North 235.71 feet of said subdivision to the City of Yakima, and
it appearing that said pla. has previously been approved by the City Planning Commission
and the City Engineer; it is hereby ordered that said plat be approved and the Mayor
and City Clerk authorized to sign the anoroval on said plat on behalf of said City of
Yakima:- carried, Riley and Clark-present on roll call, Washburn absent..
Moved by Riley, seconded. by Clark that s. plat designated' as "Terrace Addition" to
Yakima, having been presented to the City Commission by Chester E. Burnham and Samuel
D. Cox et ux dedicating the East 112 of West 112 of SE-�- of SW, of Section 23- 13 -18, to
the City of Yakima and it appearing that said plat confirms with the rules and regula-
tions of the City Planning Commission and the laws of the State of Washington; it is
hereby ordered that said plat be approved and the Mayor a.nd City Clerk authorized to
execute said approval of said plat on behalf of the City of Yakima: carried, Riley and
Clark voting -a.ye ' on roll call, Washburn absent.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that the City Engineer having reported the completion
of the improvement on South 10th Avenue by filling in the open ditch and constructing
curbs and. gutters, etc.; said work is hereby accepted. and the City Engineer directed
to prepare an assessment roll for said. district and the City Clerk authorized to give
notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, May 29th, 1.939 at 10 o'clock A, M: carried,
Riley and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent.

notice to contrp.ctors for the purchase of Pipe, fittings, valves a.nd other appurtenances
to be used- for replacements, additions and extensions to the municipal i-�rater system
and.-irrigation systems of the City of Yakima; said bids to be received. on Monday, May

RESOLUTION N0. C -403, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That it is its intention to improve the following streets by the
construction of concrete curbs and. gutters: Seventeenth Ave, South from Lenox Ave, to
the north line of Johnson's Corner Subdivision; Eighteenth Ave: South from Lenox Ave.
to Ma.claren Street; Nineteenth Ave. South from Bonnie Doon Ave, to Division Street;
East side of Twentieth Ave. South from Division St. to a point 633 feet south of Macla.r
Street; Graham St, and Bell Street from Eighteenth Ave. South to Nineteenth Ave. South;
Division St, and Macla.ren St; from Sixteenth Avenue South to Twentieth Ave. South; Lom-
bard Lane from Sixteenth Aire. South to Nineteenth Ave. South; also the unnamed street
running east and west a long the north line of Johnson' s• Corner Subdivision, within

All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve-
ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting
of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima,
Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A.M., on Monday, the 22nd da.y of
May, 193q, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing on all matters relat-
ing to the said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the
method of payment therefor; and. the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice
of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said. improvement shall be distributed as
follows: The labor and a portion of the materials shall be furnished by.the Works
Progress Administration, and the balance of the cost and expense, i.nclu( ing,_engineer-
ing, inspection, advertising, publication of notice and all other expenses incident
thereto, shall be levied and assessed against the property included in the district as
is legally and properly assessable therefor a.s provided by law and as above described;
and.the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior
to the date fixed_ herein for said hearing, all of the data'and other information re-
quired by law to be by him submitted.
