Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 539, providing for the construction of curbs and gutters on Park Lane and there--being no objections in writing, or other- wise, to said assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as finally read: carried, We.shburft and_- Cl&rk­voting aye-!on roll..c.all 'Riley, absent. ORDINANCE N0. B -356, entitled, 10AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No. 539, as created and established by Ordinance No.,B -34+2, of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima", was introduced by Washburn and read. by the City Clerk. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -356 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call,. Riley absent. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -356 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Riley absent, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. C -364, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of the south. 120 feet of the north 160 feet of the east 4.1 feet of the west 272 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 24, Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: The south 120 feet of the north 160 feet of the east 41,feet of the west 272 feet of the South- west 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of the-Northwest 1/4 of Section 24, Township 13 North, Range 18, E. W. M. by reason of a deed issued therefor by the Treasurer of Yakima County, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima., on sale of said property for delinquent taxes, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City-of Yakima to sell said premises to KINGSLEY FAIRCHILD and'JEANNE E. FAIRCHILD, husband and wife, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That said above described premises be and they are hereby author- ized to be sold to KINGSLEY FAIRCHILD and JEANNE E. FAIRCHILD, husband and wife, for the total sum of One Hundred and No /100 ($100.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, E. B. Riley, is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima. RESOLUTION NO. 0-365, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 7, Block 6, Tennant & Miles' Modern Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Wash- ington. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to'wit: Lot 7, Block 6, Tennant & Miles' Modern Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on file and. of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washing- ton, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of Yakima County, State of Wash- ington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent real estate. taxes, and r WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima to sell said premises to LILLIAN AIRY, a widow; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That said above described premises be and they are hereby author- ized to be sold to LILLIAN AIRY, a widow, for the total sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), and the Mayor, E: B. Riley, is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima: ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and. approved this 12th day of December, 1938.
