The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn
,and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon-
day ; September26th, 19.38 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried,
Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for the continued hear-
ing on Resolution:.No,.. C -347, providing for a domestic water system on East A Street
and other street -s in. said city and it appearing that more than 50 % of the property
ownors -.:in: said di strict ob j.ect to said proposed improvement; it is ordered that said
project beabandoned: - carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn-,. seconded by. Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment roll in Local Improvement District'No. 53.5 and there being'no objection in
writing'•or otherwise'to said assessment roll dr any part thereof; it is ordered that
the ordinance confoor�ing.said.assessment roll and every part thereof, be passed as
finally read: carded, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on rall call.
ORDINANCE NO. B-340, enti.tled,. "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering:
Local Improvement- District No. 53.5,, as created and established by the Ordinance No.
B -325 of the- Ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Clark and read by
the City Clerk.
Moved by Washburn; . seconded by Riley that this being the time for the hearing on
Resolution-No. C -353, providing for the construction of an irrigation system on the
north line of Tieton Drive and other streets in the City of Yakima, and there being
no objections in writing or otherwili3e, to said improvement or any part thereof; it is
ordered. *that- the ordinance creating a local improvement district be passed as finally
read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -341, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property
in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of an irrigation system to
serve various lots and tracts of land; establishing a Local Improvement District, pro -
viding•f.or the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund ",.was intro-
duced by Washburn and read by the City Clerk.

call.
