Seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley,a.nd aye on roll call, Clark absent. RESOLUTION NO. C -344, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY.OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it is its intention to construct pipe sewers with the neces- sary wye branches, manholes, flush tanks and water connections therefor to serve each lot and tract of land within the pr000sed district. That the district to be served by end assessed for the above described improvement is described as follows, to -wit: the above improvement to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifica- tions to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima, County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 15th day of August, 1939, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters related to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed.to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement shall be distributed as follows: Approximately the sum of $39,415.00 to be taken care of by the Works Progress Administration, and the balance thereof to be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by la.w and as above de- scribed; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all-of the data and other informa- tion required by law to be by him submitted. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that this being the time for the hearing on the assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 530 for the construction of an irri- gation - system in the Broadway District, and there.being no objections in writing or otherwise to said assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed. as finally read: carried, Riley and Washburn voting aye on roll call, Clark absent. ORDINANCE NO. B -321, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No. 530, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -298 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Riley and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that Ordinance No. B -321 be passed to its second reading and read by title only :,.carried, Riley and Washburn voting aye on roll call, Clark absent. B -322, entitled, 'IAN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of insta.11- mente of assessments levied for.the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 522, and providing for the issuance of bonds Orith coupons at- tached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof ", was introduced by Riley and read by the City Clerk. Beginning at the intersection of the east line of South Eighth Street with East Lenox Avenue; thence easterly along East Lenox Avenue to-Fair Avenue; thence northerly along Fair Avenue to East Washington Street; thence westerly along East Washington Street; to east line of South Eighth Street, ex- tended; thence south to East Lenox Avenue;. thence westerly along East Lenox Avenue to South Seventh Street; thence northerly to Pacific Avenue; thence westerly along Pacific Avenue to South First Street; thence south- easterly along South First Street to East Lenox Avenue; thence easterly to point of beginning; the above improvement to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifica- tions to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Riley and Commissioner Clark present on roll call, Washburn absent. moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that the City Engineer having reported the completion of paving 25th Avenue South from Summitview Avenue to Lincoln Avenue in Local Improvemen District No. 532; said improvement is hereby accepted, and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the Ciry Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of hearing on said assessment roll for Monday, August 22, 1938 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Riley qnd Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent. Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet Saturday July 30th, 1938 at 10 o'clock A.
