Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday, July 5th, 1935 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Wash- burn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn.that this being the time for the hearing on the assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 525, providing for the construction of an irrigation system in Lea-ming's Addition and there being insufficient protest.in writing or otherwise to said assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance confirming said assessment roll and every part - thereof be passed as finally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -319, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No. 525, ascreated and established by Ordinance No. B -291 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Clark and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -319 be passed to its second reading and read by tithe only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. 11 1 Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -319 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No, B -319 be passed as finally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -31+3, BE I.T. RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it i.s its intention to complete the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances for the purpose od supplying grater for domes- tic use to serve all the lots, blocks and parcels of land in- eluded within the proposed district hereinafter described, and the mst of construction is to be paid from special assessments levied upon the property in said district, in accordance with law. That the district to be served by and assessed for the above de- scribed improvement is described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the intersection of West Washing- ton Street with the east line of Twelfth Avenue South; thence east a distance of 130 feet; thence south and parallel with the center line of Twelfth Avenue South to Lenox Avenue; thence west to a. point 130 feet west of the west line of Twelfth Avenue South; thence north and parallel with the center line of Twelfth Avenue South to West Washington Street; thence east to the point of beginning; the above improvement to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifica- tions to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons-,Mho may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of ten A. 11., on Monday, the lst day of August, 1935, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as pro- vided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to sub- mit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted.
