on roll call, Commissioner Washburn absent.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
June 2.7th, 1938 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley
and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that the following payrolls be allowed. 2nd the City
Clerk authorized_ to issue warrants, as. follows: Sanitation $748.40; Parks $767.05;
Crusher. $197.16; Cemetery $168.00; Cemetery Care $426.00; Street Mtse. $1340,.58; Curb
& Gutters $152.75 and Water $663.05: carried, Riley , arhd -Clark voting a.ye-.on -* roll ---ca.11,

ment roll and the City Clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on said roll for

ADJOURNED MEETING, FRIDAY, JULY 8, 1938, 2 P. M.
The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Wash-
burn and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the City of Yakima take over the County
Airport and install lights, providing that a satisfactory lease can be arranged with
Yakima County and that the proposed lighting plan is approved by the Department of
Commerce: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.-B -318, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE eliminating blocks 228 and 229 and Lots
1 to 14 inclusive of Block 227, original plat of Yakima., from irrigation maintenance
charges of Local Improvement District No. 308 ", was introduced by Washburn and read
by the City Clerk.
