The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn and
Clark present on -roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
June 13th, 1938 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
i�.noved by Riley, seconded by Clark that this being the time for receiving bids for pav-
ing Twenty -fifth Avenue from Pummitview Avenue to Lincoln Avenue in Local Improvement
District No. 532, the following were received: R. A. Geary $4,753.35; H. J. Adler
Construction Company $4,400.31; Thos. Dingle $4,885.64; J. B. Covello $5,661.75 and
J. M. DeBlasio $4,320.60; it is ordered that the final award of the contract be made
at eleven o'clock A. M: carried, Riley; Washburn and Clark voting a.ye on roll call.
Moved by.Riley, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet at eleven o'clock A.M:

ADJOURNED MEETING, MONDAY, JUNE 20, 1938, 11 A. M.
The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Wash-
burn and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the bid of J. M. DeBlasio in the sum of
x¢4,320.60 for paving 25th'Avenue from Summitview Avenue to Lincoln Avenue in Local Im-
nrovement District No. 532 be accepted as the lowest and best bid for doing said work
and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf of
the City of Yakima with said Contractor upon his filing the proper bond as-required
'by law:' carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the bond..of J. M. DeBlasio in the sum of
$4,320.60.for paving 25th Avenue from Summitview Avenue to Lincoln Avenue in Local Im-
provement District No. 532 is hereby approved and placed on file with the City Clerk:
carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded.by Riley that claims in the total sum of $1,679.44.be
allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds: Current
Expense $128.13; Delinquent Property ales $2.40; Irrigation $628.24• Crusher x$7.45;
P. R. & P.-Fund $10.08; Revolving $446.04; Park $22.25; City Street x$490.75 and Water
$344.1o: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark -voting aye on roll call.
